Founded in 1958 by Len Tamasi with a single centerless grinder, Boston Centerless has grown its service vision exponentially over the last 60 years. After providing grinding services for several years, Len quickly realized that there was a significant need for consistent, precise ground bar stock for Swiss screw machining and other precision machining industries.

This realization ignited a passion for meeting the precision ground bar needs of key industries throughout the United States and this passion has only grown over the decades. Through hard work and dedication to our customers, we’ve earned our reputation in the industry for offering unequaled quality and service when it comes to precision bar stock and grinding services.
