The facility increases manufacturing and distribution capacity substantially with over 16,000 additional square feet and state-of-the-art equipment. • Shorter Lead Times: our Fort Wayne manufacturing plant demonstrates our commitment to continue strengthening our supply chain services for our customers. The central location of this facility was strategically selected, enabling our team to readily access logistics channels across the Midwest that result in shorter lead times. Our Fort Wayne location also allows more on-demand production and Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveries for our customers, especially those across the Central and Western U.S. Shorter lead times and JIT manufacturing result in more optimal inventory and warehousing, leading to lower costs and faster speed to market for our customers.
  
  
• Lower Logistics Costs: the central location of our Fort Wayne facility makes it possible for our team to deliver more cost-effective solutions by reducing shipping and logistics costs within the supply chain, especially for our Midwest customers. With our GrindAll service, for example, customers supply the raw material and we grind the bars to their specifications. Due to its central location, GrindAll at our Fort Wayne manufacturing plant is more cost-effective and delivers quicker shipping times at lower costs.
  
  
• Same Trusted Quality and Certifications: at Boston Centerless, we have built a reputation across the globe for our outstanding quality – and our Fort Wayne facility is no exception. Our new manufacturing plant provides the same precision grinding, straightening and bar end chamfering services as offered at our headquarters in Woburn, MA. In fact, the equipment in these two facilities is identical, and the personnel in our Fort Wayne facility were trained by the skilled operators from our Woburn plant. Additionally, our Fort Wayne plant carries the same quality certifications as our headquarters including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100.
